HPD's Porsche 911 was confiscated during a drug bust and is used in police events.

The Hoover Police Department uses this Porsche 911 that has a special HPD paint job promoting the theme "911 We Shall Never Forget!"

The Porsche 911 is a symbol to all drug dealers that whatever they own can and will be confiscated by the police department!

Hoover's Police Department is deputized by the Jefferson County Sheriff to carry out searches and arrests on the Interstate Highways and to confiscate vehicles of drug dealers. This is one example!

Confiscated equipment is used to keep Hoover Police Department at the forefront of crime fighting and crime-busting equipment and methods nation-wide. A major portion of money and equipment confiscated is kept by the HPD.

On occasion, the equipment conficated by the Hoover Police Department is kept for publicity purposes, such as this Porsche 911.
